Holy Cross Energy Campus, Glenwood Springs, CO

New Inventory Warehouse and Vehicle Storage:15,750 SF split level facility has a 12' grade change between levels. Additionally, there is a storage mezzanine framed with composite steel and concrete deck on load bearing Concrete Masonry Unit (CMU) walls. The exterior walls are load bearing CMU. The roof framing system utilizes bar joists and steel. The building features several areas with translucent panels and clerestory windows.

Fire and Raw Water Building: This small building houses the pump equipment for the site water. The roof is steel framed and has load bearing CMU walls. Additionally, there is a generator pad that has been designed for a future building.  The site also contains a 42 foot diameter water tank.

Electrical Operations Building Remodel: This existing CMU building was remodeled to add new openings in the existing load bearing shear walls, converting old garage space into office space, and adding a new mezzanine. The framing for the mezzanine needed to be strong enough to support storage loading, but shallow enough to have adequate headroom above and below the framing.
