Duplex Residence, Snowmass, CO

9,000 SF duplex in three levels located in a challenging site. This design required a 30 ft soil-nailed wall to stabilize the hillside in which it is built. It also required efficient use of concrete retaining walls of the sides and steel rigid gables to accommodate the vaulted ceilings in hip configuration.
